Indoor Fruit Trees: Three New Varieties Now Available

We’re pleased to let you know that three brand new varieties of Indoor Fruit Trees are now available!

Bananas, papayas, and pineapples can now be grown indoors with these specially bred indoor citrus varieties.

The banana tree has deep green leafy foliage and grows about 3 feet tall. It will produce 5 to 6 inch bananas within two years.

Meanwhile, the indoor papaya tree produces full size papayas. Like most indoor fruit trees, the papaya likes humidity, so we recommend misting in between watering. This tree in particular does well if it is outside during the warm summer months, something we normally recommend for indoor fruit trees anyway.

Finally, the indoor pineapple tree produces fruit that is sweeter and slightly softer than pineapples you’ll find at the grocer. Also, the fruit doesn’t have the traditional “woody” center that other pineapples have.
